Suncoast Native Plant Society Small Grants Program
The Suncoast Native Plant Society supports projects that educate the community about the value and benefits of Florida native plants.
Eligibility
- Nonprofit organizations, schools, and conservation-focused groups are encouraged to apply.
- Projects may include, but are not limited to:
- Native plant landscaping projects
- Educational programs and workshops
- Publications and outreach materials
- Research related to Florida native plants
- Community engagement initiatives
Grant Amount
Awards of up to $500 are available.
Grant Period
Projects are generally funded for a period of up to one year.
How to Apply
Applications should be no more than two pages (single-spaced) and include:
Organization name
Contact person's name, address, phone number, and email
Target audience
Project description
Proposed budget
Project timeline, including anticipated completion date
Review Process
Applications are typically reviewed and funding decisions made within 60 days of receipt.
Recipient Requirements
Grant recipients are asked to submit a brief final report upon completion of the project describing outcomes and how funds were used.
Recipients are also encouraged to share their project with the chapter through:
A presentation at a chapter meeting and their social media channels
