Suncoast Chapter Small Grants Program
The Suncoast Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society offers small grants for projects that educate the community about Florida native plants or support the conservation, preservation and restoration of Florida’s native plants and their habitats.
Grant requests may be submitted by nonprofit organizations, schools, conservation groups and other community organizations. Grants of up to $500 may be awarded.
Submitting an application does not guarantee funding. All grants must be approved by the Suncoast Board. Grants are generally viewed within 30 days.
Before You Apply
Applications must be complete before they can be placed on a board meeting agenda for a vote. If information is missing, the application will be returned to the applicant.
Grant funds should be spent with Hillsborough County vendors and native plant nurseries whenever possible.If a Hillsborough County business cannot provide the plants, materials or services needed for the project, the applicant must explain why another vendor is necessary
