About Us
Suncoast Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society is the Hillsborough County chapter of FNPS. Founded in 1983, Suncoast is one of the Society’s oldest chapters and continues to support the statewide mission of promoting the preservation, conservation, and restoration of Florida’s native plants and native plant communities.
Through education, outreach, field trips, and community connection, our chapter helps residents learn how native plants support wildlife, protect local ecosystems, and create more resilient Florida landscapes.
